ABOUT
I'm Dr. Goodwin,
Â
I'm a board certified family medicine physician trained at OHSU, with residency in Eastern Washington. I’ve worked in busy clinics, small towns, and through the chaos of the COVID pandemic in Northern California.
I’ve spent years on the clinical side of the exam room, helping people navigate everything from everyday concerns to complex, chronic conditions.
I know how the system works,
and where it breaks down.
And Then I Became a Patient Too...
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Addison’s disease and stage IV endometriosis. Between the testing, surgeries, setbacks, and exhaustion, I found myself on the other side of the exam room.
And despite all my training, I still felt confused.
Still felt unheard.
Still wasn’t always sure what to ask next.
That experience changed how I see medicine, and how I practice it.

Why This Work Exists
I started building what I wished I’d had as a patient:
tools that help people track symptoms clearly, understand their health without needing a medical degree, and feel more confident speaking up during appointments.
This work isn’t about quick fixes
or perfect outcomes.
It’s about clarity.
It’s about agency.
It’s about helping people feel a little more grounded in a system that often feels overwhelming.
And yes! Sometimes it’s about finding room to laugh, even when healthcare is hard.
